Mar Baselios English medium School is an institution owned and managed by the Syro Malankara Catholic Church, Diocese of Parassala. The school was established in 1998 by the Late Most. Rev. Dr. Cyril Mar Baselios. Fr. Samuel Kunninpurathu and Fr. Daniel Narakathandil served as Bursar and Assistant Bursar respectively after the primary class started on 10th June 1998. Mr. Varghese Thazhathethil appointed as Headmaster. School got CBSE affiliation in 2012 under the guidance of Rev. Fr. John Punnara and Principal Mrs. Geen C.L. The school prepared students for CBSE class X examinations and scored 100 % results till now. The school provides opportunities to students in co-curricular activities through various arts, clubs, nallapadam programmes, charity programmes, sports and games, karate, music, dance etc.
Today Mar Baselios English Medium School has bagged much reputation and has come to the fore among other distinguished schools in and around Amboori.
